After the ride, you can observe the elephants being bathed and fed by the mahouts. You can also take a coracle ride, a circular boat, which takes you across the river.

    Afternoon: Abbey Falls

  2. Day 2: Coorg
    Morning: Talacauvery and Bhagamandala

Talacauvery is the source of the river Cauvery and is a sacred spot for Hindus. You can take a dip in the holy waters and offer your prayers. Bhagamandala is located at the confluence of three rivers, Cauvery, Kannike, and Sujyoti. You can visit the Bhagandeshwara temple and the Triveni Sangama, the meeting point of the three rivers.

    Afternoon: Madikeri Fort

Built-in the 17th century, Madikeri Fort was the home of the King of Coorg. It has now been converted into a museum and showcases the history of Coorg. You can see the weapons, artifacts, and costumes used by the rulers of Coorg. The fort also offers an excellent view of Madikeri town.

    Evening: Mandalpatti

Recommendations

If you have time, you can also visit the Nagarhole National Park, known for its wildlife and bird watching. You can also take a coffee plantation tour to learn about the coffee-making process and enjoy some freshly brewed coffee. If you are interested in adventure activities, you can go trekking or rafting at the Barapole River. To maximize your fun, it is recommended to hire a cab for the entire trip, so you can travel at your own pace.
