Kedarnath Family-Friendly 5-Day Itinerary in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Kedarnath Temple

  5. Day 5: Gaurikund

If you have some extra time, you can plan a side trip to the nearby town of Rudraprayag, located 86 km from Kedarnath. The town is located at the confluence of the Alaknanda and Mandakini rivers and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains. You can also plan a visit to the nearby Tungnath Temple, located 30 km from Kedarnath, and the highest Shiva temple in the world. To maximize your fun, make sure to pack comfortable shoes, warm clothing, and sunscreen, as the weather can be unpredictable. And don't forget to try some of the local delicacies, such as Kachmauli, Bhang ki Chutney, and Aloo ke Gutke.
