2-Day South Goa Nature Itinerary in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Netravali Wildlife Sanctuary
    1 hour 20 minutes (40.6 miles) from Goa International Airport

    Begin your day at Netravali Wildlife Sanctuary, located in the eastern part of Goa. This nature reserve boasts a wide variety of flora and fauna and offers views of lush green valleys, waterfalls, and streams. Start your morning with a guided trek through the jungle to spot exotic birds and animals like the Indian gaur, giant squirrel, and black panther. After lunch, take a dip in the refreshing Sada waterfall and enjoy the scenic beauty of the dense forest. In the evening, relax and explore the nearby tribal villages to learn about their culture and lifestyle.

  2. Day 2: Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and Mollem National Park
    1 hour 25 minutes (46.3 miles) from Netravali Wildlife Sanctuary

    On your second day, head to Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and Mollem National Park, one of the largest wildlife sanctuaries in Goa. The park is home to diverse flora and fauna, including tigers, leopards, deer, and various species of birds. Start your day with an early morning jeep safari and spot the majestic creatures in their natural habitat. After the safari, visit the famous Dudhsagar Waterfall, one of the tallest waterfalls in India. Take a refreshing dip in the pool and enjoy the breathtaking view of the waterfall. In the afternoon, trek to Tambdi Surla temple, a 12th-century Shiva temple nestled in the heart of the jungle. In the evening, head back to your hotel and relax.
