Two-Day Itinerary for Mysore

  1. Day 1: Mysore Palace

The palace opens at 10 AM, so make sure you get there on time to avoid the crowds. Spend your morning exploring the expansive grounds and admiring the intricate architecture. After lunch, head to the nearby St. Philomena's Church, a beautiful Gothic-style structure that is a popular tourist attraction. As evening approaches, head back to the palace to witness the stunning illumination of the building. The palace is open until 5:30 PM.

  2. Day 2: Chamundeshwari Temple
    20 minutes (8.9 km) from Mysore Palace

    Start your day early and make your way to the Chamundeshwari Temple, situated on the top of the Chamundi Hills. This temple is dedicated to the goddess Chamundeshwari, and the panoramic views of Mysore from the top of the hill are breathtaking. Spend your morning exploring the temple complex and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. After lunch, head to the nearby Brindavan Gardens, a beautifully landscaped garden with fountains and light shows. As evening approaches, head back to the temple to witness the stunning sunset view. The temple is open from 7:30 AM to 2 PM and then from 3:30 PM to 6 PM.
