Two-Day Family-Friendly Itinerary for Kashi in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Kashi Vishwanath Temple
    5 minutes (0.7 km) from Assi Ghat

    In the morning, start your day by visiting the famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of the most significant and revered temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Experience the serene and spiritual atmosphere while admiring the stunning architecture of the temple. Afterward, take a 15-minute stroll to the Manikarnika Ghat to witness the unique and ancient Hindu ritual of cremation. In the afternoon, head to the Ramnagar Fort, a beautiful 17th-century fort, and museum showcasing the rich history and culture of the region. In the evening, visit the Dashashwamedh Ghat to witness the grand and mesmerizing Ganga Aarti performed every evening.

  2. Day 2: Sarnath
    12km from Kashi Vishwanath Temple (30 minutes by car)
