7-Day Family Friendly Varanasi Itinerary in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Dashashwamedh Ghat
    15 minutes (3.6 km) from Varanasi Junction Railway Station

If you have time, consider visiting the nearby city of Allahabad and its famous Triveni Sangam. You can also try a local cooking class or take a day trip to the nearby Chunar Fort. To make the most of your trip, try to wake up early to avoid the crowds and heat, and wear comfortable shoes as many areas are only accessible on foot. Don't forget to try the local cuisine, especially the famous chaat and lassi!
