Welcome to France! After arriving in Paris, you will settle in at your accommodation and visit the famous Eiffel Tower for a panoramic view of the city!
Your first volunteering spot is La Ferme de la Harpe located in Rennes. Here you will learn about agricultural farming practices such as animal rearing, vegetable cultivation, herd care and visit traditional Brittany's stables.
Les Amanins Ecology Center has been running for more than 10 years and has a vast range of volunteering opportunities available. They focus on educating about ecological, social and economical aspects of agriculture. Don't forget to visit their famous outdoor market!
Les Jardins de Capuchins is a beautiful farm located in the heart of Avignon City. They provide volunteering experiences with organic vegetable growing and sustainable fruit harvesting. Try the delicious homemade jam and take a stroll through their old-style vegetable garden.
The Domaine des Courmettes is an oasis in the middle of French Riviera. Attend eco-center events or work with their experienced farm staff in sustainable and traditional farming practices, including beekeeping.
On the last day, take a guided city tour with a local guide in Nice. Take in the beautiful Mediterranean Sea as you stroll through the city, and enjoy some authentic French cuisine.
You will need to consider using trains and buses to get around France for this trip. Consider purchasing a rail pass if you plan to travel through multiple regions. Please note that the estimated transportation costs outlined do not include the rail pass price.
If you have extra time, visit some of France's famous vineyards in the countryside or take a trip to the beach in the south of France. If you have less time, reduce your volunteering stops to narrow your trip down.
