3-Day Itinerary for Varanasi

  1. Day 1: Assi Ghat
    10 minutes (2.5 km) from Varanasi Junction railway station

    In the morning, visit Assi Ghat, which is one of the most popular ghats in Varanasi. This ghat is known for its beautiful sunrise view, which you can enjoy while taking a boat ride on the Ganges. In the evening, attend the famous Ganga Aarti at Assi Ghat, which is a spiritual ceremony that takes place every day at sunset.

  2. Day 2: Kashi Vishwanath Temple
    15 minutes (3.5 km) from Assi Ghat

    Start your day with a visit to the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, which is considered one of the holiest temples in India. After exploring the temple, have brunch at a nearby restaurant.
