4-Day Nature Itinerary for Udaipur in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Fateh Sagar Lake
    10 minutes (3.2 km) from Udaipur City Palace

    In the morning, visit Fateh Sagar Lake, the second artificial lake in Udaipur. Take a boat ride to Nehru Park, an island park in the middle of the lake. Enjoy the lush greenery and get a panoramic view of the city. In the afternoon, head to Jagdish Temple, a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu.   2. Day 2: Sajjangarh Monsoon Palace and Biological Park

    Start the day with a visit to Sajjangarh Monsoon Palace, a hilltop palace built by Maharana Sajjan Singh in 1884. The palace offers a breathtaking view of the Aravalli Range and the city.   4. Day 4: Udai Sagar Lake and Jaisamand Lake
    1 hour 30 minutes (40 km) from Udaipur City Center

    Start the day with a visit to Udai Sagar Lake, located near the famous Eklingji Temple. Enjoy a boat ride and learn about the history of the lake. After that, head to Jaisamand Lake, the second-largest artificial lake in Asia. Visit the Jaisamand Wildlife Sanctuary and spot the various animals such as panthers, leopards, and deer. In the evening, head back to Udaipur and enjoy a cultural show at Bagore Ki Haveli or a sunset boat ride at Lake Pichola.
