North and South Goa Adventure Itinerary in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Calangute Beach
    1 hour and 10 minutes (24 km) from Dabolim Airport

    In the morning, hit the waves and try your hand at jet skiing, parasailing and windsurfing. For lunch, try the local seafood at one of the beach shacks. In the afternoon, rent a bike and explore the nearby towns of Candolim and Baga. Finish your evening with a beach party at Tito's.

  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Waterfalls
    2 hours and 15 minutes (75 km) from Calangute Beach

    Start your day early and drive to the majestic Dudhsagar Waterfalls. Reach the falls by trekking through the lush green forest. Take a dip in the natural pool and enjoy the breathtaking views. Return to your hotel in the evening for dinner.

  3. Day 3: Palolem Beach
    1 hour and 20 minutes (45 km) from Dudhsagar Waterfalls

    In the morning, drive to Palolem Beach and spend the day kayaking and paddle boarding. Take a break for lunch at one of the beach restaurants. In the afternoon, head to the nearby Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary for a nature walk. Finish your day with a sunset boat ride.

  4. Day 4: Grand Island
    1 hour and 30 minutes (35 km) from Palolem Beach

    Take a boat ride to Grand Island and go snorkeling in the clear waters. Spot dolphins on your way to the island. After lunch, go scuba diving and see the vibrant coral reefs and marine life. Return to your hotel in the evening for dinner.

  5. Day 5: Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary
    1 hour and 15 minutes (28 km) from Grand Island

    Start your day with a morning nature walk at the Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary. Spot a variety of exotic birds, including kingfishers, herons, and storks. For lunch, try some Goan sausages and beer at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, head to the Panjim Market for some souvenir shopping. End your day with a sunset boat cruise on Mandovi River.

Recommendations

If you have time, visit the Fort Aguada and Reis Magos Fort to explore the Goan history. Take a trip to the Bondla Wildlife Sanctuary for a trek and to spot some unique animals.
