2-Day Hyderabad Adventure Itinerary for June 2023

  1. Day 1: Trekking at Kotpally Reservoir

    In the morning, we will head out to Kotpally Reservoir, a scenic spot for trekking and birdwatching. With a sprawling area of 18,000 acres and the Eastern Ghats in the background, this is a nature lover's paradise. The trek route is around 8 km and takes approximately 2 hours to complete. In the afternoon, we will explore the nearby Ethipothala Falls, a cascade of waterfalls that is formed due to the Chandravanka river. Evening can be spent relaxing in the tranquil surroundings of the reservoir.

  2. Day 2: Rappelling at Bhongir Fort
    1 hour 30 minutes (63 km) from Hyderabad

    In the morning, we will drive down to Bhongir Fort, a unique rock climbing and rappelling destination in the heart of Telangana. The fort has a steep gradient and allows for an exciting rappelling experience. The fort also provides an excellent vantage point for panoramic views of the surrounding areas. In the afternoon, we will visit the Yadagiri Gutta temple, a popular pilgrimage site situated on a hilltop. Evening can be spent exploring the local markets and trying out traditional Telugu cuisine.
