You can take a speedboat ride or go for a gentle pedal boat ride on the lake. The dam also has a small garden and an Indo-Swiss dairy farm nearby. In the afternoon, you can trek to the Shola forest and spot some exotic birds. In the evening, head to Echo Point, located 15 minutes from Mattupetty Dam, for a unique experience of hearing your voice reverberate.

  2. Day 2: Eravikulam National Park
    1 hour (15.1 km) from Munnar town

    Eravikulam National Park is home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr and is a must-visit place in Munnar. The park has several trails with varying difficulty levels.
