3-Day Honeymoon Itinerary for Hyderabad in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Visit the Charminar
    20 minutes (5.5 km) from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport

    Start your honeymoon by visiting the iconic Charminar. Built-in 1591, this monument is a beautiful example of Islamic architecture and is a symbol of Hyderabad. In the morning, explore the area around Charminar and shop for traditional bangles, pearls and other souvenirs. Try the famous Hyderabadi biryani and other local delicacies at the nearby restaurants for lunch. Spend the afternoon at the Salar Jung Museum, which has one of the largest collections of antique items from around the world. In the evening, head to the Golconda Fort to watch the light and sound show which depicts the history of the fort.

  2. Day 2: Explore the Ramoji Film City
    1 hour 10 minutes (32 km) from Charminar

    Spend the day exploring the Ramoji Film City, the world's largest integrated film studio complex. Take a guided tour of the studio and watch live shoots of movies and TV shows. You can also enjoy various rides and shows at the amusement park inside the studio. Have lunch at one of the many restaurants in the complex. In the evening, visit the Hussain Sagar lake and take a boat ride to see the statue of Buddha.

  3. Day 3: Visit the Qutub Shahi Tombs and Nehru Zoo
    40 minutes (13 km) from Ramoji Film City

    Start the day by visiting the Qutub Shahi Tombs. These tombs are a group of small and large structures, built to commemorate the rulers of the Qutub Shahi dynasty. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and learn about the history of the rulers. Have lunch at the nearby restaurants and head to the Nehru Zoo in the afternoon. See a variety of animals including tigers, lions, elephants, and giraffes. Take a romantic walk in the evening at the KBR National Park, which is known for its beautiful flora and fauna.

For a more romantic experience, you can take a night walk around the Necklace Road. You can also visit the Chowmahalla Palace, which was the official residence of the Nizams of Hyderabad. If you are interested in visiting a temple, then the Birla Mandir is a must-visit. Additionally, you can take a side trip to the historic city of Bidar, which is known for its beautiful architecture and is only a 3-hour drive from Hyderabad.
