Recommendations

If you're interested in history, visit the Jim Thompson House, a museum dedicated to the American businessman who revitalized the Thai silk industry, and the Museum of Siam, which explores the history and culture of Thailand. For a unique experience, consider taking a day trip to the Maeklong Railway Market, where vendors sell their goods on the train tracks and have to quickly move when the train arrives. You can also take a boat ride along the canals of Thonburi and explore the traditional way of life in Bangkok.

To maximize your fun, try some of the local street food, such as pad thai, mango sticky rice, and fried chicken. Bangkok is also famous for its nightlife, so consider visiting some of the rooftop bars, such as Vertigo and Moon Bar or Octave Rooftop Bar and Lounge, for a stunning view of the city. Lastly, be sure to wear a helmet and follow traffic rules when riding your motorcycle.
