Bachelor Party Itinerary for Munnar in August 2023

  1. Day 1: Kolukkumalai Tea Estate
    1 hour 50 minutes (44 miles) from Cochin International Airport

    In the morning, visit the Kolukkumalai Tea Estate, which is the highest organic tea estate in the world. Take a guided tour to learn about the tea-making process and enjoy some of the freshest tea you'll ever taste. In the afternoon, head to Mattupetty Dam for some boating and sightseeing. In the evening, enjoy a bonfire and barbecue at your hotel.

  2. Day 2: Anamudi Peak
    1 hour 20 minutes (25 miles) from Kolukkumalai Tea Estate

    In the morning, hike up to Anamudi Peak, the highest peak in South India. Enjoy breathtaking views of Munnar from the top. In the afternoon, head to the Tea Museum to learn more about the history and culture of tea in Munnar. In the evening, relax and unwind at your hotel's spa.

  3. Day 3: Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary
    2 hours 20 minutes (60 miles) from Anamudi Peak

    In the morning, visit the Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary to see some of the unique flora and fauna of the region. Take a guided tour to spot elephants, deer, and other wildlife. In the afternoon, head to Top Station for some panoramic views of the Western Ghats. In the evening, enjoy a night of partying and clubbing in Munnar.

Recommendations

If you have time, consider visiting the Eravikulam National Park, which is home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. You could also take a trip to the nearby hill station of Vagamon for some paragliding and other adventure activities. To maximize your fun, hire a local guide who can take you to some of the hidden gems of Munnar. Don't forget to try some of the local cuisine, such as appam and stew, puttu and kadala curry, and beef fry.
