Relaxing 4-Day Itinerary in Varanasi in November 2023

  1. Day 1: Sarnath
    10 minutes (5.9 km) from Varanasi

    For a peaceful start to your trip, head to Sarnath, one of the most important Buddhist pilgrimage sites in the world. In the morning, visit the Dhamek Stupa and the Mulagandha Kuti Vihar. After lunch, explore the ancient ruins and the Sarnath Museum. In the evening, attend the fascinating light and sound show depicting the life of Buddha.

  2. Day 2: Assi Ghat and Chunar Fort
    30 minutes (12.3 km) from Sarnath

    Start your day with a sunrise boat ride on the Ganges River at Assi Ghat. After breakfast, visit the Tulsi Ghat, Harishchandra Ghat, and the Kedar Ghat. In the afternoon, drive to Chunar Fort, an ancient fort perched atop a hill with stunning views of the Ganges. Explore the fort and visit the Chunar pottery village. Return to Varanasi for a relaxing evening and dinner by the river.

  3. Day 3: Ramnagar Fort and Museum
