Mysore Family-Friendly Itinerary for June 2023

  1. Day 1: Mysore Palace
    5 minutes (1.5 km) from Mysore Junction Railway Station

    Start your day at the iconic Mysore Palace, where you can marvel at the intricate carvings and bright colors that adorn the palace walls. Take a guided tour to learn about the history of the palace and the royal family that lived there. Afterward, stroll through the palace grounds and enjoy the beautiful gardens and fountains.

    In the afternoon, visit St. Philomena's Church, which is one of the largest churches in India. Admire the Gothic-style architecture and the beautiful stained glass windows. Take a guided tour to learn about the history of the church and the Christian community in Mysore.

    In the evening, head to the Kukkarahalli Lake, which is a popular spot for birdwatching and boating. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and watch the sunset over the lake.
