In the morning, start your journey to Vaishno Devi Temple, one of the most visited pilgrimage sites in India. Trek up the mountain to reach the temple, which involves a 12 km uphill climb. The trek itself is a beautiful experience, surrounded by lush green forests and scenic views of the mountains. Once you reach the temple, you can offer your prayers and take part in the rituals. Afternoon and evening can be spent exploring the surroundings of the temple which include Bhairon Temple and Adhkuwari.
Start your day early and head to Ardh Kuwari Cave, a major holy site for devotees visiting Vaishno Devi. The cave has a narrow entrance that opens up to a small shrine. Spend some time here and then trek back down to Katra. Spend the rest of the day exploring the town of Katra and trying out local food.
On the last day, take a day trip to Patnitop, a hill station nestled in the Shivalik range of the Himalayas. Patnitop is known for its picturesque landscapes, trekking trails, and adventure sports. Spend the day exploring the local markets, trying out local food, and enjoying the views. You can also indulge in adventure activities like paragliding, skiing, and trekking. Return to Katra by evening and spend your last night here.
