2-Day Motorcycle Riding Itinerary for Mysore in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Chamundi Hill
    20 minutes (5 miles) from Mysore Palace

    Start your day early by riding up to the beautiful Chamundi Hill. The hill is home to the Chamundeswari Temple, which dates back to the 12th century. In the morning, you can witness the sunrise from the hill and explore the temple complex. Afterward, ride to the nearby Nandi Statue, a famous landmark of Mysore. In the afternoon, you can visit the Lalitha Mahal Palace, a beautiful palace that has now been converted into a hotel. In the evening, head to the Brindavan Gardens, located 30 minutes away, and enjoy the beautiful fountains and light show.

  2. Day 2: Bandipur National Park
    2 hours (52 miles) from Mysore Palace

    Get an early start to ride to the Bandipur National Park, a 874-square-kilometer forest reserve. Here you can enjoy a safari and spot various wildlife like elephants, tigers, leopards, and deer. In the afternoon, you can head to the nearby Gopalaswamy Betta, a small hill that offers breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and valleys. In the evening, ride back to Mysore and visit the Mysore Palace, one of the most famous landmarks of Mysore. The Palace is beautifully lit up in the evening and is a sight to behold.
