4-Day Itinerary for Munnar in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Visit Tea Plantations
    25 minutes (10.2 miles) from Munnar town

    In the morning, you'll be visiting the Kolukkumalai Tea Estate for a sunrise tour of the tea plantations. You'll be surrounded by tea gardens and the misty hills. Later, head to the Lockhart Tea Factory to learn about tea production and taste some tea. For the evening, enjoy a stroll in the beautiful Munnar Tea Museum.

  2. Day 2: Hiking in Eravikulam National Park
    16 minutes (7.8 miles) from Munnar town

    Start your day early with a hike in Eravikulam National Park to see the Neelakurinji flowers, which bloom once every twelve years. The trek to Anamudi Peak, the highest peak in South India, is a must-visit. In the afternoon, you can visit the nearby Mattupetty Dam for some boating and sightseeing. End your day with a visit to the Echo Point.

  3. Day 3: Waterfalls and Spice Gardens

    Explore the beautiful Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary and enjoy some trekking, camping, and bird watching. Continue the adventure by visiting the Top Station, one of the highest points in Munnar, for a breathtaking view of the Western Ghats. In the evening, you can visit the Fun Forest Adventure Park for some zip-lining, rope walking, and other fun activities.

If you're looking for some extra fun, you can consider visiting the Kundala Dam, Marayoor Sandalwood Forest, and the Attukad Waterfalls.
