3-Day Itinerary for Mangalore in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Panambur Beach
    20 minutes (6.4 km) from Mangalore International Airport

    Start your trip with a visit to Panambur Beach. Enjoy the beautiful sunrise and take a stroll along the 2 km stretch of the beach. For adventure lovers, try out Jet Skiing, Parasailing and other water sports activities. For lunch, head to 'Gajalee Seafood Restaurant' and indulge in some delicious seafood dishes. In the afternoon, visit the 'Kadri Manjunath Temple' which is one of the oldest and most famous temples in Mangalore. In the evening, visit 'Sultan Battery' which is a watchtower built by Tipu Sultan.

  2. Day 2: St. Aloysius Chapel and Mangaladevi Temple
    30 minutes (9.2 km) from Panambur Beach

    In the morning, visit 'St. Aloysius Chapel' which is a beautiful chapel with magnificent paintings on its walls and ceilings. Afterward, head to 'The Old House' for a delicious breakfast. In the afternoon, visit 'Mangaladevi Temple' which is dedicated to Goddess Shakti. The temple has a unique architecture and is a must-visit for devotees. In the evening, visit 'Tannirbhavi Beach' which is a serene beach and an ideal place to relax.

  3. Day 3: Ullal Beach and Someshwara Beach
    30 minutes (14.5 km) from Mangaladevi Temple

    Start your day by visiting 'Ullal Beach' which is a beautiful beach surrounded by palm trees. You can also visit the 'Someshwara Temple' which is located nearby. For lunch, head to 'Machali' which is a popular seafood restaurant. In the afternoon, visit 'Someshwara Beach' which is another beautiful beach located close to Ullal Beach. In the evening, head to 'Pabbas' for some delicious ice cream.

Recommendations

Do not miss out on visiting 'Kudroli Gokarnath Temple' which is a beautiful temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. A day trip to 'Coorg' which is a nearby hill station is also worth considering. You can also enjoy a boat ride at 'Pilikula Nisargadhama' which is a nature park located on the outskirts of Mangalore.
