3-Day Itinerary for North Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Fort Aguada
20 minutes (5 miles) from Dabolim Airport

Start your day with a visit to Fort Aguada, a 17th-century Portuguese fort with stunning views of the Arabian Sea. In the morning, explore the fort and its lighthouse, which offers panoramic views of the coastline. For lunch, head to the nearby village of Candolim and try some authentic Goan cuisine at one of the local restaurants. In the afternoon, relax on the beautiful Sinquerim Beach and take a dip in the clear blue waters. In the evening, head to the nearby Taj Holiday Village Resort for a romantic dinner overlooking the sea.

  2. Day 2: Dudhsagar Falls
2 hours 15 minutes (47 miles) from Sinquerim Beach

Wake up early and head to the Dudhsagar Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in India. The falls are located inside the Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and Mollem National Park, so be prepared for a trek through lush green forests and rocky terrain. Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy it by the falls. In the evening, head back to your hotel for a relaxing dinner and some well-deserved rest.

  3. Day 3: Anjuna Flea Market
30 minutes (9 miles) from Calangute Beach

On your last day, head to the famous Anjuna Flea Market, which takes place every Wednesday. Here, you can find everything from clothes and jewelry to spices and handicrafts. Spend the morning shopping and haggling with the local vendors. For lunch, head to one of the nearby beach shacks and try some fresh seafood. In the afternoon, head to Calangute Beach, the largest beach in North Goa, for some sun, sand, and sea. In the evening, head to the nearby town of Baga for some lively nightlife.

Recommendations

If you have time, consider visiting the Chapora Fort, another Portuguese fort with stunning views of the Arabian Sea. You can also take a day trip to the nearby town of Panaji and explore its colonial architecture and charming streets.
