End the day by watching the sunset over the Chapora Fort, famous for its appearance in the Bollywood movie "Dil Chahta Hai".

Recommendations

Don't miss the chance to experience the thrill of white water rafting on the Mhadei River or take a hot air balloon ride over the Goan countryside for breathtaking views. If you have extra time, visit the historic city of Old Goa to see the Basilica of Bom Jesus and other UNESCO World Heritage sites.

To maximize your fun, consider renting a scooter or a bike to explore the region at your own pace. Make sure to carry enough cash as many places do not accept cards. Lastly, indulge in the delicious local cuisine, especially the seafood and Goan sausages, and try the local feni, a liquor made from cashew nuts or coconuts.
