2-Day Itinerary for Munnar in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Kundala Dam
    20 minutes (8.7 km) from Munnar town

    In the morning, visit the Kundala Dam and enjoy a scenic walk around the lake. Take a boat ride to explore the calm waters while admiring the surrounding hills. In the afternoon, head to Echo Point and listen to your voice echoing back from the hills. Take a short hike and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding tea plantations. End the day with a visit to the Tea Museum, where you'll learn about the history of tea in India and get to taste a variety of blends.

  2. Day 2: Mattupetty Dam
    30 minutes (13.8 km) from Kundala Dam

    Start the day with a visit to Mattupetty Dam and enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding hills. Take a boat ride on the lake and spot some wildlife, such as elephants and goats, near the shore. In the afternoon, head to Top Station and enjoy a cup of tea while admiring the panoramic views of the Western Ghats. End the day with a visit to the Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr and other unique flora and fauna.
