3-Day Family Friendly Itinerary for Hyderabad in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Charminar & Chowmahalla Palace
    20 minutes (5.7 km) from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport

    In the morning, visit Charminar, an iconic monument and mosque located in the heart of Hyderabad. Climb to the top to get a panoramic view of the city. After lunch, head to Chowmahalla Palace, a 200-year-old palace with beautiful architecture and landscaped gardens. You can also attend cultural events and art exhibitions in the palace. In the evening, explore the nearby markets for traditional items such as bangles and pearls.

  2. Day 2: Ramoji Film City & Golconda Fort
    1 hour 15 minutes (35 km) from Charminar

    Start the day at Ramoji Film City, the largest film studio complex in the world. Go on a studio tour and experience movie-making magic. Enjoy lunch at one of the many restaurants within the studio. In the afternoon, visit Golconda Fort, a historic citadel and fortress. Take a guided tour to learn about the history and architecture of the fort. Stay until sunset to witness the light and sound show.

  3. Day 3: Salar Jung Museum & Nehru Zoological Park
    35 minutes (13 km) from Golconda Fort

In the afternoon, visit Nehru Zoological Park, home to over 1,500 species of animals and birds. Take a safari ride to see lions, tigers, and bears. Other local attractions you might want to consider are the Birla Mandir, a Hindu temple made of white marble, and the Qutb Shahi Tombs, a complex of mausoleums of the rulers of the Qutb Shahi dynasty.
