2-Day Adventure Itinerary in Bangalore in July 2023

  1. Day 1: Kunti Betta Trek
    50 minutes (28.5 km) from Bangalore city centre

    Start your day with a 4 km trek to the top of Kunti Betta, a beautiful hill offering scenic views of the surrounding countryside. You will pass through lush green forests and rocky terrains during the 2-hour trek. After reaching the top, enjoy a breathtaking view of the sunrise. Descend the hill and stop at the nearby Manchinbele Dam for water sports such as kayaking, canoeing and swimming. In the evening, head to Rasta Cafe for some delicious food and drinks amidst a serene environment.

  2. Day 2: Anthargange Caving
    1 hour 10 minutes (68 km) from Bangalore city centre

    Explore the fascinating underground world of Anthargange, known for its volcanic rock formations and caves. En route to Anthargange, stop at the Bhoga Nandeeshwara Temple, an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, to discover its rich history and architecture. After visiting the temple, head to Anthargange for a 3-hour cave exploration. You will crawl through narrow passages, climb boulders and wade through underground streams. After the caving activity, relax at the nearby natural hot water spring. End your day with dinner at the nearby Guhantara Underground Resort, a unique resort set in a cave with a one-of-a-kind dining experience.
