Udaipur Bachelor Party Itinerary - October 2023

  1. Day 1: City Palace
    10 minutes (2.5 km) from Udaipur City Railway Station

    Start your day at the City Palace, a symbol of the city's rich history and culture. Visit the various museums and art galleries within the palace complex to admire the beautiful artwork, ancient artefacts and royal memorabilia. After a morning of exploration, head to the nearby Jagdish Temple, one of the largest and most beautiful temples in Udaipur. Indulge in a traditional Rajasthani thali lunch at the famous Natraj Dining Hall, before taking a stroll around Fateh Sagar Lake in the afternoon. In the evening, visit the Bagore Ki Haveli for a cultural show featuring traditional Rajasthani dance and music.

  2. Day 2: Sajjangarh Palace and Vintage Car Museum
    25 minutes (9 km) from City Palace

    Drive up to the Sajjangarh Palace, also known as the Monsoon Palace, for a panoramic view of the city and surrounding hills. After experiencing the breathtaking views, head to the nearby Vintage Car Museum to see a unique collection of vintage cars and motorcycles. Enjoy a leisurely lunch at the Jheel's Rooftop Restaurant, overlooking the Pichola Lake. Spend the afternoon exploring the beautiful Saheliyon Ki Bari gardens, featuring fountains, marble elephants and a lotus pool. In the evening, unwind with a drink at the fun and lively Ambrai Bar, located right on the lake with stunning views of the City Palace.

  3. Day 3: Haldi Ghati and Shilpgram
    1 hour 30 minutes (50 km) from Sajjangarh Palace

    Take a day trip to the historic site of Haldi Ghati, where the famous battle between Maharana Pratap and Mughal Emperor Akbar took place. Explore the museum and memorial dedicated to the legendary king, before heading to the nearby Shilpgram for a glimpse into the traditional arts and crafts of Rajasthan. Enjoy a delicious lunch at the garden restaurant at the Shilpgram complex, before heading back to Udaipur for a sunset boat ride on Lake Pichola. Wrap up your evening at the Red Room, a vibrant nightclub with a great dance floor and DJ.

Consider taking a day trip to the Kumbhalgarh Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most impressive forts in Rajasthan. For a unique dining experience, head to the revolving restaurant at the top of the Fateh Prakash Palace, where you can enjoy a meal with stunning views of the City Palace and Lake Pichola. If you have time, visit the nearby Ranakpur Jain Temple, a stunning marble temple featuring intricate carvings and architecture.
