Start your day with an adrenaline rush at the Old Montreal Zip Line, one of the longest urban zip lines in North America. The 20-second ride offers an excellent bird's eye view of the city skyline while soaring over the famous Bonsecours Market and the St. Lawrence River. Safety equipment and training are provided before the ride.
Head to Mont-Royal Park for a scenic hike and breathtaking views of the city. The hike to the top of the mountain takes about an hour, and it’s worth it for the panoramic view of Montreal. Besides hiking, there are plenty of other activities in the park, from picnicking to birdwatching.
After working up an appetite, sample Montreal's cultural diversity with a food tour of the Mile End neighborhood. Highlights of the tour include bagel tasting at St. Viateur Bagel or Fairmount Bagel, smoked meat sandwich at Schwartz's Deli, and maple syrup-flavored treats at Le Castor Fou.
After indulging in food, head to La Ronde Amusement Park for an adrenaline-packed afternoon. La Ronde has over 40 rides and attractions, from roller coasters to water rides to a giant Ferris wheel. Quebec's largest theme park also has a Six Flags area with several coasters for thrill-seekers.
Experience the ultimate thrill with a Jet Boating adventure on Lachine Rapids. The boat ride is full of twists, turns, and 360-degree spins as you brave the rapids of the Saint-Lawrence River. Raincoats and life jackets are provided, but be prepared to get soaked on this wet and wild ride.
If you have more time, consider visiting the Montreal Biodome or the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. If you have less time, you can skip the foodie tour and grab a quick bite at one of the many food trucks scattered throughout the city. Don't forget to wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather, especially for the jet boating adventure. Carry a water bottle and don't forget to tip your tour guides and boat operators.
