4-Day Adventure Itinerary in Karnataka, August 2023

  1. Day 1: Coorg
    4 hours 30 minutes (150 miles) from Bangalore

    Coorg or Kodagu is a beautiful hill station and a perfect place to kick off your adventure. Start your day with an early morning trek to Tadiandamol Peak, the highest peak in Coorg. The trek will take around 4-5 hours and is suitable for experienced trekkers. After the trek, head to Abbey Falls, a picturesque waterfall surrounded by coffee and spice plantations. Enjoy the view of the waterfall and take a dip in the cool waters. In the evening, visit the Raja's Seat, a scenic garden with a breathtaking view of the sunset over the hills.

  2. Day 2: Gokarna
    6 hours 30 minutes (220 miles) from Coorg

    Known for its beautiful beaches and serene atmosphere, Gokarna is a must-visit destination for adventure seekers. Start your day early with a visit to the Mahabaleshwar Temple, a famous Shiva temple located on the shores of the Arabian Sea. Recommendations

If you have the time, consider taking a day trip to the Jog Falls, located about 120 miles from Gokarna. This is the second-highest waterfall in India and is a sight to behold.
