Exploring the Nature of Karnataka in August 2023

  1. Day 1: Coorg
    5 hours 30 minutes (270 km) from Bangalore

    In the morning, head to Dubare Elephant Camp to interact with elephants, feed them and take a dip with them in the river. In the afternoon, visit the Namdroling Monastery, one of the largest Tibetan settlements in India, to witness the grandeur of the Golden temple and marvel at the intricate Tibetan artwork on the walls. In the evening, go for a serene walk along the Mandalpatti View Point.

  2. Day 2: Gokarna
    8 hours (500 km) from Coorg

    Start the day early and visit the Gokarna Beach, one of the most scenic beaches in India. Enjoy the white sand and crystal clear water. In the afternoon, visit the Gokarna Temple, a sacred pilgrimage site for Hindus. In the evening, watch a mesmerizing sunset at the Om Beach.

  3. Day 3: Hampi
    7 hours (350 km) from Gokarna

    Begin the day with a visit to the Virupaksha Temple, one of the oldest functioning temples in India. Explore the Vijayanagara ruins and relive the memories of the ancient kingdom. In the afternoon, visit the Lotus Mahal and the Vittala Temple. In the evening, enjoy a sunset boat ride on the Tungabhadra river.

  4. Day 4: Jog Falls
    7 hours (350 km) from Hampi

    Drive to the Jog Falls, one of the tallest waterfalls in India. Spend the morning enjoying the natural beauty of the falls and the surrounding lush green landscape. In the afternoon, visit the Linganamakki Dam and the Sharavathi Valley Wildlife Sanctuary to spot some exotic wildlife. In the evening, head back to Bangalore.
