Walk along the famous Las Vegas Strip and gaze in awe at the bright lights and immense size of the hotels and casinos. Stop at the famous Fountains of Bellagio for an impressive water show that happens every 30 minutes during the day and 15 minutes at night.
Embark on a day trip to the Grand Canyon and stare down into one of the world’s most magnificent natural wonders. Stop at the Hoover Dam for some impressive photos and then learn about the Grand Canyon's history at the Grand Canyon National Park Visitor Center. Spend the afternoon hiking on the many trails that surround the canyon and take in the natural splendor of the landscape. Be sure to bring plenty of water and wear comfortable shoes.
Take a break from the glitz and glamour of The Strip and check out the Fremont Street Experience, an outdoor pedestrian mall lit by an LED canopy screen. Watch the Viva Vision light show after sunset, catch a concert, or try the zipline ride that runs down the middle of the street. Admire the vintage neon signs and grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants.
If you have more time, consider adding a visit to one of the many shows on The Strip or taking a helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon. If you have less time, skip the day trip to the Grand Canyon and explore other attractions on The Strip or downtown Las Vegas. Remember to stay hydrated and wear comfortable shoes, especially if you plan to do a lot of walking.
