Start your day at the Aga Khan Palace, a national monument with a historical significance. Built in 1892, it is a symbol of India's freedom movement. Today, begin your day by visiting the Vetal Tekdi Temple, which is situated on a hilltop overlooking Pune. From there, head over to Saras Baug, a peaceful garden featuring beautiful sunsets and a pleasant atmosphere.
In the afternoon, visit the Lohagad Fort, situated roughly 50 km from Pune. Here, you can enjoy trekking and hiking while taking in the magnificent views of the cityscape. Return back by late afternoon and spend the evening exploring the vibrant streets of MG Road Camp and enjoying some street foods.
If you have more time, take a visit to the magnificent Sinhagad Fort, located about 30 km from Pune. If you have less time, subtract the trip to Lohagad Fort.
