Start your nature adventure at Bannerghatta National Park, home to a variety of animals, including tigers, lions, and elephants, as well as a butterfly park and a zoo. Take a guided safari tour, go on a nature walk, or enjoy a bird-watching expedition. You can also visit the Biological Park, which houses about 30 endangered species.
After exploring the wild side of Bangalore, head to the beautiful Lalbagh Botanical Gardens. The large park is home to over 1,000 species of plants, many of which are rare. You can take a relaxed stroll around the gardens, check out the serene lake or relax in one of the many shaded areas. Don’t forget to check out the glass house, which is inspired by London’s Crystal Palace.
Start early and drive to Nandi Hills to catch the stunning sunrise. The scenic hill station offers panoramic views of the surrounding hills and valleys. You can go for a leisurely walk or hike to one of the many peaks for the best views. Other attractions include the Bhoganandishwara Temple, Tipu's Drop, and the Nandi Fort.
End your trip with a visit to the magnificent Bangalore Palace, which was built in 1887. The palace is a beautiful amalgamation of Scottish Gothic and Tudor styles. It houses several artifacts, including old photographs and paintings, as well as antique furniture. You can also visit the palace grounds, which include a rose garden and a tennis court.
If you have more time, consider visiting the nearby Hesaraghatta Lake or the Turahalli Forest Reserve. If you have less time, skip Lalbagh Botanical Garden and spend more time at Bannerghatta National Park. Make sure to carry sunscreen, insect repellent, and plenty of water.
