Getting around Barcelona is relatively easy with its public transportation system. The metro system is efficient, cheap, and will get you anywhere you need to go. A single trip on the metro costs €2.40, or you can buy a T10 ticket for €10.20, which includes ten trips. Taxis are also readily available, and it costs around €10-€15 to get around the city center.
If you have more time in Barcelona, consider visiting the Picasso Museum or walking along the beachfront boardwalk. If you have less time, skip La Rambla or the Gothic Quarter and focus on the Gaudi architecture at Park Guell and the Sagrada Familia. Barcelona is served by Barcelona–El Prat Airport (BCN). The airport is located 12 km from the city center and has two terminals that are connected by a free shuttle bus. Taxi rides from the airport to the city center cost around €25-€30, and the airport also has train and bus connections to the city center for around €5-€10.
