Experience Bangalore in Two Days: A City Lover's Itinerary

  1. Day 1: Cubbon Park and Bangalore Palace

    Start your day with a morning stroll at the Cubbon Park, a massive green lung in Bangalore. It's perfect for a morning jog or picnic.     Post-Lunch, take a taxi to Lalbagh Botanical Garden, a 240-acre garden containing over 1,000 species of plants and trees. You may rent a bicycle and explore the lake, flower beds, and glasshouses. Later in the evening, head over to Vidhana Soudha, located 10 minutes away from Lalbagh. It is a splendid building built in the neo-Dravidian style, known for its massive legislative chambers and 6-story high central dome. You can enjoy the sound and light show during the evening.

  3. Day 2: Bangalore Fort and Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace

    Start your second day by heading over to the Bangalore Fort. This fort was established in the 16th century and has been through many renovations. The fort now-houses Tippu Sultan's Summer Palace, which is a glimpse into the life of the king, displaying an array of artifacts and weaponry. The palace has elaborate murals and carvings, influenced by Islamic and Hindu architecture. You may also find the mosque in the complex intriguing.

  4. Day 2: UB City and Commercial Street
    20 minutes (6.8 km) from Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace

    Spend your afternoon shopping in Bangalore's upscale, premium mall, UB City, and lounge at its rooftop cafe. It has international stores as well as Indian brands. Afterward, head a little north to Commercial Street, and you will be guaranteed to find anything you desire, from accessories to textiles to shoes to food.
