Today, embark on a pilgrimage to the holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi. Start early in the morning from Jammu to Katra, the base camp for the Vaishno Devi Yatra. Begin the trek to the temple, a distance of approximately 13 kilometers. The trail is well-paved and offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst nature. In the afternoon, indulge in adventure activities like paragliding or horse riding (additional cost). Witness a beautiful sunset before returning to Katra for the night.
On the final day, visit the mystical cave shrine of Shivkhori before bidding adieu to the land of spirituality. After breakfast, drive to Ransoo, the base camp for Shivkhori. Trek to the holy cave, which houses a naturally formed shivling (representation of Lord Shiva). Witness the mesmerizing stalactite formations inside the cave. Offer your prayers and seek divine blessings. After descending back to Ransoo, return to Jammu. Depending on your departure time, you can explore the local markets for some last-minute shopping.
