Shimla has fantastic architectural buildings, cosy cafes and friendly locals. Walk the ridge, admire the beautiful Christ Church, and visit the Viceregal Lodge, once the summer seat of British power. End your day with yummy momos and thukpa at Tibetan Market.
Experience the pure beauty of the Solang Valley and the magical Rohtang Pass. There are different activities available - skiing, snowmobile, and zorbing. In summer, you can enjoy paragliding and trekking. Visit Kothi Gorge, Rahala Falls on the way back to Manali.
Start your day by visiting Hadimba Temple, which stands amid multiple deodar trees. Visit the Manu Temple, which is the only temple in India dedicated to the man who created human race according to the Hindu mythology. Go for a village safari, and visit the famous Vashisht Temple for its great hot Springs.
Explore Manali by foot and indulge in shopping on Mall Road selling everything imaginable such as woolen clothes, blankets, shawls, handmade items and many more. Capture moments with the famous statue of Manu at Manali Clubhouse.
The final day can be full of adventure activities with a cable car ride to the peak and then a Ski Centre on the way down. Go for horse riding, ATV biking, and enjoy a scrumptious lunch in a mountain top hotel. Return to Manali in the evening and get refreshed with a massage center in old Manali.
If you have more time, you can include exploring Kullu and Naggar and do some adventure sports. If you have lesser time, skip Solang valley. You can also include a visit to the Chadwick falls and Jakhu temple in Shimla. Keep your itinerary flexible and adapt to local weather conditions, which can change drastically during monsoon and winter. Wear comfortable shoes and take care of your health while trekking. Shopkeepers at roadside stalls may often inflate prices for tourists, so always bargain.
