Begin your journey by visiting Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary, spread across 240 square kilometers, and housing a variety of flora and fauna. Along the trek, there is a 13th-century old Tambdi Surla Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. Surrounded by beautiful greenery, the complex has intricate carvings on the stone structure. Make sure to take a guide for the trek.
Visit Dudhsagar falls, one of the highest waterfalls in India at 1017 feet. The water, cascading down the rocky cliffs, gives a milky-white appearance, and the lush greenery surrounding the area makes it truly picturesque. In the afternoon, visit one of the spice plantations in the area to learn about the spices used in Indian cuisine. Continue on to Mollem National Park to spot the famous black panthers that reside there.
Begin by visiting Terekhol Fort, built-in 1764, enjoying the view of the Terekhol River joining the Arabian Sea. Next, visit Arambol beach, known for its clean waters and long stretched coastline, lined with palm trees. Take a walk to Sweet Lake, a natural freshwater lagoon with a stunning view. If you have more time, you can visit the Chapora Fort offering a mesmerizing view of the Arabian Sea, and relax at the quiet Mandrem Beach. For those with less time, skip the Spice Plantation and Mollem National Park.
