  1. Day 1: Munnar Tea Museum
    10 minutes (2.5 km) from Munnar town

    The Munnar Tea Museum is a must-visit attraction when in Munnar. Located in the Nallathanni Estate of Tata Tea, this museum showcases the history and evolution of tea plantations in Munnar. You can witness the tea-making process, see the old machinery used for tea production, and learn about the various tea varieties. The museum also has a tea-tasting session where you can sample different tea flavors. Do visit the souvenir shop where you can buy tea leaves, tea cups, and other items related to tea.

  2. Day 2: Eravikulam National Park
    45 minutes (14 km) from Munnar town

    Eravikulam National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage site and home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. Take a guided trek to see these rare animals in their natural habitat. You can also spot other animals like leopards, elephants, and gaurs. The park is also famous for its collection of wildflowers, especially the Neelakurinji, which blooms once every 12 years. The trek to Anamudi Peak, the highest peak in South India, also starts from here. The park remains closed from February to March.

  3. Day 3: Kundala Dam and Lake
    30 minutes (13 km) from Munnar town

    Kundala Dam and Lake is a popular picnic spot in Munnar. The dam was built in 1946 for irrigation and hydroelectric projects. You can go boating in the lake and enjoy the scenic views of the surrounding hills and valleys. The area is also great for bird watching with species like the Nilgiri Wood Pigeon and the White-Bellied Treepie. The nearby Kundala Tea Plantations are also worth a visit.
