5-Day Hyderabad Itinerary for August 2023

  1. Day 1: Charminar
    30 minutes (6.9 km) from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport

    Start your trip with one of Hyderabad's most iconic landmarks, the Charminar. This 16th-century mosque and monument is a must-visit for its stunning architecture and cultural significance.   2. Day 2: Golconda Fort

    Travel back in time to the 13th-century and explore the grandeur and history of Golconda Fort. The fort complex is vast and includes multiple gateways, mosques, and royal apartments. Be sure to visit the Light and Sound show in the evening, where the fort comes alive with history and stories about the Qutb Shahi dynasty that once ruled here.

  3. Day 3: Ramoji Film City
    50 minutes (27 km) from Golconda Fort

    Spend a day at Ramoji Film City, one of the largest film studios in the world. Experience the magic of cinema by taking a tour of the sets, witnessing live shows, and exploring the behind-the-scenes of movie-making.   4. Day 4: Chowmahalla Palace
    40 minutes (12 km) from Ramoji Film City

    Chowmahalla Palace was the seat of the Nizams of Hyderabad, and it oozes luxury and grandeur. The palace is a magnificent example of Indo-Saracenic architecture, and the various halls and courtyards have intricate designs and decorations. The palace is now a museum, and it exhibits the artifacts and belongings of the Nizams.

  5. Day 5: Hussain Sagar Lake

    End your trip with a relaxing visit to the Hussain Sagar Lake, which is an artificial lake built-in 1563 by Ibrahim Quli Qutb Shah.
