3-Day Itinerary for North Goa in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Explore Old Goa

    Start your day early with a trip to Old Goa, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that was the capital of Goa in the 16th century. Explore the stunning churches and cathedrals such as the Basilica of Bom Jesus, Se Cathedral and Church of St. Francis of Assisi.   2. Day 2: Relax on Calangute Beach
    30 minutes (11 miles) from Old Goa

    Take a break from the city and spend a day at Calangute Beach, known as the "Queen of Beaches". Relax on the sandy shores, take a dip in the clear blue waters, or try your hand at water sports such as parasailing or jet-skiing. The beach is lined with shacks serving delicious Goan cuisine, so be sure to try some local delicacies.

  3. Day 3: Visit the Fort Aguada
    45 minutes (13 miles) from Calangute Beach

    Begin your day with a visit to the historic Fort Aguada, built by the Portuguese in the 17th century. Enjoy the scenic views of the Arabian Sea and the Mandovi River from the fort. Afterward, head to the Aguada Lighthouse, which was built in 1864 and is still in use today. Take a tour of the lighthouse and learn about its history.
