3-Day Motorcycle Riding Itinerary in Munnar - December 2023

1. Day 1: Riding through the Tea Plantations
   10 minutes (2.5km) from Munnar Bus Stand

   Start your motorcycle adventure by riding through the lush green tea plantations of Munnar. The scenic views of the tea gardens surrounding the winding roads are a sight to behold. You will also get a chance to interact with local tea pluckers and learn about the tea-making process. Don't forget to stop at the Lockhart Tea Factory to taste some of the finest tea in town.

2. Day 2: Explore the Wildlife at Eravikulam National Park
   40 minutes (15km) from Lockhart Tea Factory

   Go for a morning ride to Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Tahr. The park is also known for its rolling hills, lush forests, and beautiful waterfalls. Enjoy a jeep safari to spot some of the exotic wildlife species like elephants, gaur, and leopards. The park is closed in February and March, so December is the perfect time to visit.

3. Day 3: Trek to Meesapulimala Peak
   1 hour 30 minutes (25km) from Eravikulam National Park

   Get ready for an adventure-packed day as you ride to Meesapulimala Peak, the second-highest peak in the Western Ghats. The trek to the summit is a challenging yet rewarding experience. The trek takes around 4-5 hours and offers stunning views of the surrounding hills and valleys. The peak is closed during the monsoon season, so December is the best time to go.
