Kolukkumalai Tea Estate is the highest tea plantation in the world and is accessible only by jeep. On the way up to the estate, you will witness breathtaking views of the Western Ghats. Once you reach the estate, you will get to see the 100-year-old orthodox tea factory and learn about the process of tea-making. You can also take a short hike to the nearby viewpoint to get an even more spectacular view of the surrounding hills.
Meesapulimala Trek is a challenging yet rewarding trek that takes you to the second-highest peak in the Western Ghats. You will be trekking through the beautiful Rhodo Valley, grasslands, and shola forests. The trek is about 8 kilometers long and takes around 6-7 hours to complete. Once you reach the top, you will be rewarded with an incredible view of the surrounding hills and the clouds below you.
