Shimla & Manali Honeymoon Itinerary - November 2024

  1. Day 1: Shimla Arrival and Local Sightseeing
    Shimla Airport to Hotel (30 minutes, 13.2 km)

    Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. After freshening up and having breakfast, start your local sightseeing tour of Shimla. Visit The Ridge, a large open space located in the heart of the city offering stunning views of the mountain ranges. Take a stroll on Mall Road, a popular shopping destination famous for handicrafts, souvenirs, and street food. Visit Christ Church, one of the oldest churches in North India, built-in 1857. End your day with a visit to Jakhoo Hill, the highest point of Shimla. Witness the beautiful sunset and enjoy the panoramic view of the city from the hilltop.

  2. Day 2: Shimla to Kufri and Chail
    Shimla to Kufri (1 hour, 16.2 km)

    After breakfast, leave for Kufri, a small hill station known for its ski slopes and scenic views of the Himalayas. Visit the Himalayan Nature Park, which is home to a variety of flora and fauna, including snow leopards, yaks, and brown bears. Later, drive to Chail, a quaint hill station known for its beautiful palace and interesting history. Visit Chail Palace, built-in 1891, and enjoy the stunning views of the mountains from the palace. Return to Shimla in the evening.

  3. Day 3: Manali Arrival and Local Sightseeing
    Shimla to Manali (7 hours, 248 km)

    After breakfast, check out of your hotel and leave for Manali, a popular hill station located in the Kullu Valley. Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel and freshen up. In the afternoon, start your local sightseeing tour of Manali. Visit Hadimba Temple, an ancient cave temple dedicated to Hidimbi Devi, wife of Bhima. Explore the Manali Nature Park, a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. End your day with a visit to Mall Road, a bustling street filled with shops, cafes, and restaurants.

  4. Day 4: Solang Valley and Rohtang Pass
    Manali to Solang Valley (30 minutes, 14.4 km) and Rohtang Pass (2 hours, 51.3 km)

    After breakfast, leave for Solang Valley, a beautiful valley known for adventure activities like skiing, paragliding, and zorbing. Enjoy these activities and soak in the stunning views of the mountains. Later, drive to Rohtang Pass, a high mountain pass connecting Manali to the Lahaul and Spiti district. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and snow-capped mountains. Note that Rohtang Pass is subject to weather conditions and is open from May to November. Return to Manali in the evening.
