Three Days in Munnar in May 2023

  1. Day 1: Mattupetty Dam
    30 minutes (10 miles) from Munnar town

    Start your day exploring the picturesque Mattupetty Dam. The surroundings of the dam are perfect for a morning walk or jog. In the afternoon, take a relaxing boat ride on the dam and admire the scenic views. End your day by visiting the nearby Echo Point, where you can shout out your name and hear it echo back.

  2. Day 2: Eravikulam National Park
    1 hour (10 miles) from Munnar town

    Get an early start to explore the Eravikulam National Park. Wear comfortable shoes as you take a guided trek to witness the rare Nilgiri Tahr. After lunch, visit the nearby Tea Museum to learn about Munnar's rich tea-making history and watch a tea-making demonstration. End your day with a leisurely stroll through the fragrant tea gardens.

  3. Day 3: Top Station
    2 hours (40 miles) from Munnar town

    On your last day, make your way to Top Station, located at the border of Tamil Nadu and Kerala. It offers an incredible view of the Western Ghats and the valley below. Make sure to bring your camera for breathtaking photos. On your way back, stop at the Pothamedu Viewpoint to catch a stunning view of the sunset.
