4-Day Nature Itinerary for Rameshwaram in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Dhanushkodi Beach
    45 minutes (19.2 km) from Rameshwaram town

    In the morning, head to Dhanushkodi Beach, which is known for its pristine sandy shoreline and crystal clear waters. Take a dip in the sea, relax on the beach and soak in the serene atmosphere. In the afternoon, visit the nearby Pamban Bridge which offers panoramic views of the ocean and the surrounding scenery. In the evening, end your day with a visit to the Ramanathaswamy Temple, which is a prominent Hindu temple in the area and offers stunning architecture and intricate carvings.

  2. Day 2: Agni Tirtham
    15 minutes (7.9 km) from Rameshwaram town

    Begin your day at Agni Tirtham, a beautiful beach where the water is believed to have medicinal properties. Take a dip in the water and offer prayers at the temple at the shore. In the afternoon, visit the Kothandaramaswamy Temple, which is a historic temple dedicated to Lord Rama and offers mesmerizing views of the Bay of Bengal.
