One of the finest Mughal forts in India, Agra Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Built in the 16th century, the fort is a magnificent display of Mughal architecture and served as the main residence of the emperors of the Mughal Dynasty.

2:30PM: Itmad-ud-Daula

Also known as the 'Baby Taj', Itmad-ud-Daula is a Mughal mausoleum located on the eastern bank of the Yamuna river. The tomb was commissioned by Nur Jahan, the wife of Jahangir, for her father Mirza Ghiyas Beg. The monument is known for its intricate carvings and beautiful gardens.

5.5 km (15 minutes) from Itmad-ud-Daula
A beautiful garden complex situated on the opposite bank of the Yamuna river to the Taj Mahal. The garden complex offers a beautiful view of the Taj Mahal and is the perfect place to relax and enjoy an evening with your family.

If you have extra time, you can also visit the Tomb of Akbar the Great, located about 13 km from Agra Fort. Another popular side trip is to the Fatehpur Sikri, a UNESCO World Heritage Site located 40 km away from Agra. To maximize your fun, we recommend starting your day early in the morning to avoid crowds and heat. Additionally, make sure to carry an ample supply of water and sunscreen.
