4-Day Foodie Itinerary for Hyderabad in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Ramoji Film City
    30 minutes (16.3 km) from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport

    Start your foodie journey with a visit to the famous Ramoji Film City, the largest film studio complex in the world. Here, you can explore the sets of your favorite movies and TV shows while indulging in some delicious food at the various restaurants scattered throughout the complex. For lunch, head over to the Dil Se restaurant for some mouth-watering Indian cuisine, or check out the Galaxy restaurant for some tasty Chinese fare. In the evening, make sure to catch the live shows at the Eureka theater while snacking on some popcorn or a samosa.

  2. Day 2: Charminar and Old City
    1 hour (14.8 km) from Ramoji Film City

    Explore the historical landmarks of Hyderabad by starting your day at the iconic Charminar. After taking in the sights and sounds of the bustling bazaar, head over to Nimrah Cafe and Bakery for some authentic Hyderabadi biscuits and Irani chai. For lunch, try some of the famous biryani at Shah Ghouse Cafe and Restaurant or Pista House, both located near the Charminar. Spend your afternoon wandering through the narrow lanes of the old city and snacking on some delicious street food, such as the iconic Osmania biscuits or the spicy Mirchi Bajji. End your day with a visit to the Chowmahalla Palace and indulge in some royal Hyderabadi cuisine at the Nizam Club restaurant.

  3. Day 3: Golkonda Fort and Jubilee Hills

  4. Day 4: Hussain Sagar and Banjara Hills
    30 minutes (8.1 km) from Golkonda Fort

    Start your day with a visit to the picturesque Hussain Sagar lake and take a boat ride to the famous Buddha statue located in the middle of the lake. After your boat ride, head over to one of the nearby restaurants for a delicious breakfast. For lunch, head over to Banjara Hills and try some of the amazing North Indian dishes at the famous Barbeque Nation or Punjab Grill. Spend your afternoon shopping at the various luxury stores and boutiques in the area or relaxing at one of the nearby spas. End your day with a visit to the iconic Shri Jagannath Temple and indulge in some delicious Prasadam before heading back to your hotel.

If you have extra time, consider taking a day trip to the nearby city of Warangal and exploring the stunning Warangal Fort and Thousand Pillar Temple. You can also try some of the famous Warangal biryani at the nearby Kakatiya Deluxe Mess.
