3-Day Itinerary for Munnar in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Eravikulam National Park

    Eravikulam National Park opens at 8:00 AM and closes at 4:30 PM. In the morning, explore the park's lush greenery and spot some of its endangered inhabitants, such as the Nilgiri Tahr. After lunch, take a hike to the Anamudi Peak and enjoy the panoramic views. In the evening, head to the nearby Tea Museum and learn about the history and production of tea in the region.

  2. Day 2: Mattupetty Dam and Kundala Lake
    30 minutes (14.3 miles) from Eravikulam National Park

    Mattupetty Dam and Kundala Lake are open daily from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM. In the morning, take a relaxing walk along the dam, enjoy the scenic views and take a boat ride. After lunch, head to Kundala Lake, enjoy the serene atmosphere and indulge in some pedal boating. In the evening, take a short trek to Echo Point and witness the breathtaking view of the surrounding hills and valleys.

  3. Day 3: Top Station and Tea Plantations
    1 hour (32.2 miles) from Kundala Lake

    Top Station and the nearby tea plantations are open daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. In the morning, visit the Top Station viewpoint and be amazed by the panoramic views of the Western Ghats. After lunch, take a stroll through the lush tea plantations and learn about the tea making process. In the evening, head back to Munnar Town and indulge in some local cuisine.
