3-Day Itinerary for Bangalore in June 2023

  1. Day 1: Lalbagh Botanical Garden
    15 minutes (3.5 km) from Bangalore City Railway Station

    In the morning, explore the lush greenery of Lalbagh Botanical Garden, which also houses a glasshouse inspired by London’s Crystal Palace. Witness the beautiful floral clock at the entrance of the garden, and don't miss the chance to see the stunning collection of plants and flowers. In the afternoon, head to Basavanagudi to try traditional South Indian food. End the day by visiting the Bull Temple, dedicated to the sacred bull Nandi.

  2. Day 2: Bangalore Palace and Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace
    20 minutes (7.5 km) from Lalbagh Botanical Garden

    Begin the day by visiting the Bangalore Palace, a beautiful Tudor-style palace with Gothic windows, woodcarvings, and paintings. Next, visit Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace, a two-story teakwood palace with balconies, pillars, and arches. In the afternoon, head to Commercial Street or Brigade Road to shop for souvenirs or relax in one of the many cafes. In the evening, visit the Ulsoor Lake to enjoy a beautiful sunset and a peaceful atmosphere.

  3. Day 3: Cubbon Park and Bangalore Fort

    Begin the day by visiting Cubbon Park, a green oasis in the heart of the city. Enjoy a leisurely walk through the park and explore the many attractions within it, including the State Archeological Museum and the Seshadri Iyer Memorial Hall. Afterward, visit the Bangalore Fort, which dates back to the 16th century. In the afternoon, head to Indiranagar for some street food and shopping. End the day by watching a movie at the legendary Rex Theatre, which has been screening movies since 1935.
